Angela Malloy was born and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina, spent 17 years in New Orleans before returning to Fayetteville. She is a military spouse, mother of five and grandmother to seven (soon to be eight) grandchildren. She has supported her adult daughters through traumatic birth experiences that resulted in four different preterm births.
Angela is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) a Certified Community Based Doula, an African Centered Childbirth Educator , Co-President of the North Carolina Community Based Doula Council and Founding President and CEO of Momma’s Village-Fayetteville where she dedicates her work to advocacy and social justice in the Black/African-American community in the Sandhills region.
Angela‘s goal is to create a Maternal and Infant Health Community that improves health outcomes through equity, social justice and empowerment. Her goal is to build sustainable health systems for the black and brown community in her region.
