Celena J. Ghost Dog, MPH, CPH, is a tribal member of the Navajo Nation. Her clans are the Bitter Water People born for the Mountain Cove People, her maternal grandparents are the Tangle People, and her paternal grandparents are the Towering House People. She serves as the Washington Youth Sexual Health (WYSH) Project Manager at the Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board. Celena provides trainings, technical assistance, and develops culturally appropriate media campaigns and resources related to adolescent health. She also assists We R Native project staff with www.wernative.org, the national multimedia health resource for Native youth and young adults, and the Healthy Native Youth project staff with www.healthynativeyouth.org, a one-stop-shop for educators and health advocates who want to expand learning opportunities for youth.
