Dr. Hafsatou Diop, MD, MPH is the Director of the Division of MCH Research and Analysis at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. She is the PI of the Massachusetts Perinatal Neonatal Quality Improvement Network (PNQIN). Dr. Diop is also the Co-PI of the maternal mortality study in Massachusetts. She received her medical degree from the University of Conakry, Guinea in 1990. She completed the 21st International Course of Epidemiology held at the Center for Research (INSERM) in Paris and did her field practicum at the Head Quarters of the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland in 1996. She received her Master of Public Health degree with concentration in MCH in 2000 from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
