I am a Professor of Pediatrics, Psychology, & Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and a licensed Developmental Psychologist with over 40 years of experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and a wide variety of other developmental disabilities. I am currently Project Director of the Vanderbilt Consortium LEND (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities) training program, Training Director for the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center’s University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD), and a psychologist with the Vanderbilt Treatment and Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders (TRIAD). In addition, I have worked as a psychologist on multiple research studies related to developmental disabilities.
