Virginia Neonatal Perinatal Collaborative (VNPC)
I am the Executive Director for the Virginia Neonatal Perinatal Collaborative (VNPC). Prior to this position, I was the Maternal and Infant Health Supervisor for the Commonwealth of Virginia at the Virginia Department of Health and a veteran with over 8 years of service as a Medic in the Army. I bring over 15 years of experience in public health practice, research, service and partnership building. I have worked with many different communities across the Military, Virginia, Louisiana, Iraq and Afghanistan addressing a variety of health concerns including maternal child health, preventative health, chronic disease, immunizations, health equity and health education. I have expertise developing and managing multi-disciplinary partnerships with providers including pediatricians, OB/GYNs, mental and behavioral health specialists, hospitals, non-profits and communities. I have expertise in state and local public health areas, maternal and child health, chronic disease, adolescent immunization, and programs with an emphasis on improving maternal and infant health outcomes, community engagement and partnership building.
