Kirsten Siegenthaler, PhD, MSPH, is the Director of the Division of Family Health in the NYS Department of Health’s Office of Public Health, Center for Community Health and serves as the Director for the Title V Maternal and Child Health Services Block Grant (MCHSBG) funded by the federal Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The Division of Family Health has a staff of almost 200 people and administers a portfolio of over $900M for numerous Maternal and Child Health programs and initiatives. She has worked at the NYS Department of Health for 20 years. She received her PhD in Epidemiology from the State University of New York at Albany and an MSPH in Epidemiology from Emory University.
