Dr. Marshall is an Associate Professor at the University of South Florida (USF) College of Public Health, Chiles Center. She serves as Interdisciplinary Faculty Lead and is the Director of Evaluation & Planning and Outreach for the NIOSH-funded Sunshine Education, Research and Training Center for occupational health, safety, and wellness. Dr. Marshall's research interests stem from over 30 years of experience working with community programs that support child and family health, underserved communities, and children with special health care needs. She has worked in early childhood for over 30 years and currently conducts research in the areas of children with special health care needs and developmental disabilities, infant mental health, perinatal opioid use and recovery, disaster preparedness and response for vulnerable populations, and workforce leadership, resilience and well-being.
