Maternal and Child Health Epidemiologist

Adwoa K. Nantwi serves as a maternal and child health epidemiologist for the NJ Maternal Mortality Review Committee (MMRC) at the New Jersey Department of Health, where she serves as the lead analyst and evaluator for the MMRC and the State Maternal Health Innovation Program. Her role primarily involves expanding access to data across the state to improve mortality reviews as well as supporting data initiatives in other areas of the Family Health Services Branch. She also serves as an Associate Adjunct Professor at New York University's School of Global Public Health, where she teaches introductory- and intermediate-level epidemiology to graduate students.
