Dr. Marcia Moriarta is a licensed clinical psychologist, Professor in the UNM Department of Pediatrics, and serves as the Executive and Medical Director for the Center for Development and Disability. She also serves as Division Chief for the Division of Child Development within the Pediatrics Department. Dr. Moriarta is a seasoned child/family psychologist with experience assessing, diagnosing and treating children and youth across the lifespan; training and consulting in multi-disciplinary settings, including developmental/behavioral pediatrics; program development and grants management. She holds sub-specialty expertise in early childhood mental health and development / neurodevelopment and has worked for 25 years as part of inter- and multi-disciplinary teams in NM and CA. She is a graduate of the California Leadership in Neurodevelopmental Disorders (CA-LEND) program.
