Samantha Davidson is a CDC/ CSTE Applied Epidemiology Fellow at the Arizona Department of Health Services working in Opioid Overdose Prevention and Surveillance. She graduated in 2021 with her Master of Science in Epidemiology from the University of Arizona where she conducted a pilot study on the reproductive health of female firefighters. Her current interests include neonatal abstinence syndrome, overdose prevention, and syndromic surveillance data. Recently she has presented at the 2022 CSTE Annual Conference, collaborated on the response to the infant formula shortage, and conducted a data linkage between the state’s opioid overdose data and death certificates.
