Emily DeLorenzo, MSW, PhD, services as the Associate Director of the Division of Family Health. In this role, Dr. DeLorenzo provides programmatic and administrative leadership across the DFH portfolio, with a particular focus on integrating behavioral health into DFH programs. Dr. DeLorenzo has experience as a clinical social worker in the NYC foster care and juvenile justice systems, where she provided individual and family therapy, crisis intervention services, and transitional living services for youth exiting the foster care system. Prior to coming to the NYSDOH, Dr. DeLorenzo worked at the NYS Office of Mental Health where she developed and implemented behavioral health programs for individuals in the public mental health system. Dr. DeLorenzo earned an MSW from Columbia University and a PhD from the University at Albany.
