Kandice Lacci-Reilly is a Ph.D. graduate from the Department of Public Health Sciences at UNC Charlotte. She successfully defended her dissertation in November 2022 and began working as a research associate for the Qualitative and Patient-Reported Outcomes (Q-PRO) shared resource with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. She has extensive experience in both quantitative and qualitative health research. Her activities have resulted in multiple presentations at national and international conferences (i.e., the International Society of Gynecological Endocrinology and APHA). She also has first-author publications with the International Journal of Child and Adolescent Health and Birth, among others. Kandice has had opportunities to intern with non-profit and private health groups, including Atrium Health’s CORE and Loaves & Fishes food pantry network. She has also received funding from the Graduate School’s 2022 Summer Fellowship. She is an active member of several professional groups, including APHA, where she volunteers to review abstracts each year for the annual conference.
