Program Manager
Guam DPHSS, Guam
Name: Margaret "Maggie" Bell
Current Function - Program Manager, Department of Public Health and Social Services
My North Star - I've lived in Guam for about 35 years and love it. On the weekends, I like to find some quiet time to sit and read or listen to music. My idea of the perfect day would start with a beautiful sunrise. Then I'd have a good day at work and get things done on my "to-do" list. I'd top it all off by watching a perfect sunset. The kinds of people I enjoy the most are those who are truthful and fun to be with. That's important to me because I value honesty.
I have over 30 years of experience planning, developing, coordinating, and implementing maternal and child health program activities and projects within the Guam Department of Public Health and Social Services. I have completed various administrative, grant management, procurement, and emergency preparedness courses.
Top Three Accomplishments – Being a mother to my two children. Being Employee of the Year for the Department of Public Health and Social Services and an Employee of the Year for the Government of Guam in my category.
Closing Statement –
"You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching,
Love like you'll never be hurt,
Sing like there's nobody listening,
And live like it's heaven on earth."
― William W. Purkey
