Dr. Meagan Robinson Maynor serves as the Director of the Division of Population Health Data at the Virginia Department of Health (VDH), Office of Family Health Services. As Division Director, Dr. Robinson Maynor functions as a data expert and oversees data efforts for Virginia’s Family Health Services programs. Prior to stepping into this role, she served as the Maternal & Child Health (MCH) Epidemiology Lead for the MCH Epidemiology Unit. She also served as an epidemiologist and program evaluator within the Office of Health Data and Research at the Mississippi State Department of Health. She served as lead epidemiologist and program evaluator for Mississippi’s Title V MCH Block Grant, Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP), and program director for the state’s SSDI project. In 2020, she was the recipient of the Early Career Professional Achievement National MCH Epidemiology Award from the Coalition for Excellence in MCH Epidemiology. In 2021 she was recognized as a 40 Under 40 in Public Health, an initiative of the de Beaumont Foundation. Dr. Robinson Maynor received a BS in Biological Sciences from Mississippi State University, followed by an MPH and a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Jackson State University.
