Lorna has a Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Wheelock College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Norwich University. Lorna has worked in maternal and child health throughout her nursing career. She started off in the Intensive Care Nursery at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and from there began working in community and public health settings. Lorna has managed and led a variety of home visiting programs within a community agency setting and as an administrator for the State of Vermont. Currently, Lorna is working as one of two USA consultants for the Maternal Early Childhood Sustained Home-visiting (MECSH) program based out of Western Sydney University in Australia. MECSH is an international evidence-based nurse home visiting program.
