The session will provide knowledge and understanding of the CBPAR framework and how it benefits families receiving care in hospital settings. This will include an overview of current national initiatives that aim to promote equity and quality improvement goals in health care. Measures of implementation will be analyzed to gauge the success rates of FACs across the nation. A local Children's Hospital will be reviewed as a case study while acknowledging the benefits and progress of this approach. Resources that support this initiative will be provided.
