Collaboration is key to moving the work forward in maternal health equity. This session will allow participants to consider how allyship and advocacy when done with intention, centering Black birthing people, builds bridges and makes "shift" happen. Everyone has a part to play in creating solutions and dismantling structural and systemic racism within maternal healthcare. The most disproportionately impacted population, Black birthing people, should inform and lead the work and allies and stakeholders should align, block, and tackle to ensure decision makers listen and take action.
