The Newborn Screening Family Education Program is a HRSA funded program dedicated to developing opportunities for all families to learn about newborn screening and to develop training and educational resources that build confidence for families to become leaders in the newborn screening system. We believe that families are integral to driving system change and supporting positive family experiences within the newborn screening system.
Join us as we learn from a panel of program participants who will discuss the strategies implemented to develop, recruit, and facilitate a national family leadership training program that is rooted in local impact, aimed to improve confidence and agency for families and how they have applied the training to serve as leaders in the newborn screening system.
