My presentation will examine the health outcomes of Black women giving birth in the United States. This population will be stratified into U.S-born and foreign-born in order to examine the differences in maternal morbidity rates between the two. Factors such as admittance to ICU, unplanned hysterectomy, maternal transfusion are among factors that will be examined.
