This panel brings together representatives from three NYC agencies: the Housing Authority, the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the Department of Homeless Services to describe how each entity is leveraging their distinct spheres of influence to support maternal health in NYC. Each panelist will provide a blueprint for HOW their agency has pivoted their focus to include supporting the health and well-being of individuals who are pregnant and new parents; and describe WHAT programs and interventions they are implementing. They will describe the political, community, staffing and fiscal contexts that support (and hinder) the implementation of their work.
