The new strategic plan for the Health Resources and Services Administration’s Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) has a specific focus on developing leaders in MCH from diverse backgrounds. The program will provide the targeted audience with information on the training and research programs sponsored by HRSA/MCHB. These programs will provide leadership development, internship, training, mentoring, and research opportunities to develop skills in MCH epidemiology, data, and research. It includes epidemiology training programs to train a diverse workforce in epidemiology and data analytical skills and research programs to develop the next generation of researchers from diverse backgrounds and conduct research in health equity.
