Advancing Healthy Equity through Data Awareness: An analysis of the 2021 Electronic Birth Certificate Data.

Session Description
Our session will have two main parts. The first part will be a brief overview of the consortium and its programs, successes and priority focus for 2023. The second part will be a focus on the analysis of the 2021 electronic birth certificate data system.

The goal of the session is to present key pregnancy and birth outcomes, highlight challenges and provide health data awareness among community members in each county using 1-page infographics.

Participant would be exposed to how complex information can be presented in a succinct manner on infographics with a focus on reducing infant and maternal mortality in the state of New Jersey. Information presented may be used by policy makers to influence systems, foster partnerships while making programs more equitable and culturally competent to address structural racism among pregnant women in the state of New Jersey.
