284 - Web GIS – How A Single Source of Information Benefits Your Organization

Abstract: Leveraging the Esri ArcGIS Online platform as the single source of information for your organization has many benefits. Coupled with the Frontier FieldSeeker GIS mosquito control software the user is provided with simple, intuitive tools for finding, collecting, and reporting data related to control activities. Data from other sources (ATV / truck spraying systems, aerial data from drones, planes, or helicopters systems, asset management systems, public notification systems, etc.) can also be stored in or integrated within the GIS. Field and office users benefit from seeing a common up-to-date picture of their operations. The more data an organization can share, the better able it is to make plans to move forward with its goals while minimizing time spent reconciling data sets for required reporting.
