Abstract: Mosquitoes exposed to sublethal concentrations of insecticides can have altered behavior. One behavior of interest is oviposition behavior. We exposed Culex quinquefasciatus females to sublethal doses of adulticides on the tip of their abdomen and observed they were unable to properly oviposit the raft of eggs leading to less survivorship of progeny. We highlight possible applications and means to disrupt oviposition behavior in Cx. quinquefasciatus. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
