Dr. Dongbin (Don) Lee is an assistant professor at the University of the Pacific after serving 9 years at OIT, OR, USA as the associate professor, director of robotics & automation lab, and the advisor of robotics club. He has expertise and interest in uncrewed robotic systems and mechatronics with their controls in application to vector control, EOD, precision agriculture, and self-driving autonomous vehicles along with AI/deep/machine learning techniques. He has contributed to building student-centered projects and advising student competition teams including robotics, and STEM/MESA outreach as well. Dr. Lee was a post-doctoral research associate in ME Dept and Center for NDC at Villanova Univ., PA where he had accomplished a couple of Office of Naval Research projects, autonomous systems research, right after he received a PhD degree in Robotics and Intelligent programs at Clemson University in 2009, focusing on robotics, mechatronics, nonlinear controls, haptics, and unmanned vehicle systems. He served as the chair in four conferences on CDSR (2017), ACC (2011), and DSCC (2010, 2011).
