Colin Lewis is an Aquatic Biologist with the Lee County Hyacinth Control District. Before working for the district, he was a natural resource technician with the National Audubon Society and a Fisheries Biologist with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. He received a Bachelors Degree in Biology from Florida Gulf Coast University and is currently a Masters student at the University of Florida pursuing a degree in Interdisciplinary Ecology. His research with Dr. James Leary aims to enhance the field of aquatic plant management by utilizing the latest technologies and understanding their use cases and limitations.
