Michelle has over 20 years of experience in oversight and management of ground, aerial, and emergency operations for mosquito and aquatics programs throughout the United States. This includes a full-time staff of over 35 people and 200 seasonal staff in 10 offices ranging from Idaho to Florida. She has been instrumental over the years in creating and fostering countless improvements in operational efficiencies including mobile data collection and mapping, fleet and equipment, and incorporating sustainable application methods into the Division. In addition, Michelle has overseen a number of vector-related emergency responses including programs in New York, Florida, Chicago, Arizona, Miami-Dade County, FL, Brownsville, TX , Hurricane Harvey and Irma, and Hurricane Florence and Michael. She holds a B.S. in Geography with an emphasis on Natural Environmental Systems and a minor in Biology from Northern Illinois University and a masters degree in Public Health from Benedictine University.
