I have more than 17 years of experience in the fields of vector biology, ecology, surveillance, management and control, diseases surveillance, blood meal analysis, and epidemiology of vector-borne diseases. I am an Operations Manager for Miami-Dade Mosquito Control Division and also appointed adjunct professor at Rutgers University, Center for Vector Biology. I have 53 publications in the areas of vector biology, ecology, surveillance, host preference, epidemiology and control of vector-borne diseases. I have conducted research and training in Turkey, Israel, Germany and the U.S.
