Christopher Barker is a professor of epidemiology in the School of Veterinary Medicine at UC Davis. He is the director of the CDC-funded Pacific Southwest Center of Excellence in Vector-Borne Diseases and conducts applied research on mosquitoes and arboviruses in collaboration with mosquito control and public health agencies in California and other parts of the U.S.
