David began as a student of Professor Walton in 2001 and received his M.S. in Entomology in spring of 2005 from the University of California at Riverside. David was hired as a full-time university researcher in summer of 2005 to assist with the various mosquito research projects conducted in the Walton laboratory for the past 15 years. David currently works at the University of California at Riverside in the laboratory of Professor Alec Gerry on developing attractive toxic sugar bait stations for mosquito control in the underground storm drain system of the Coachella valley in collaboration with the Coachella Valley Mosquito and Vector Control District.
