Mr. Shah Fahad’s hometown is district Charsadda currently residing in Islamabad. He has done his bachelor’s degree in Zoology from University of Peshawar and earned his master’s degree (with thesis on epidemiology of dengue Infection) in Zoology from University of Malakand, Dir (lower). He completed his M.Phil degree (with thesis on molecular & serotyping analysis of dengue vector Aedes aegypti) in Zoology from Government College University Faisalabad, Punjab. After completing M.Phil, Immediately he qualified the test and interview for his Ph.D admission in Pakistan top ranked university, Quaid-i-Azam university Islamabad, Pakistan. Currently Fahad is working on biological control and management of different disease vectors in Pakistan. He has begun his professional career from lecturer ship in Malalay Medical university Afghanistan from 2013 to 2015. He also worked with the Health Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under Integrated Vector Control (IVC) / Malaria Control Program (MCP), as Entomologist for district Mansehra. Dr. Shah Fahad tried to promote research culture in the country and for this purpose he established an organization with the name of Pakistan Mosquito Control Association (PMCA) in 2018 and organized multiple workshops on surveillance and control of vector-borne diseases in Pakistan. He was selected to attend “VI ICGEB workshop on Human RNA viruses in Fudan university Shanghai, China” October 26-28, 2018 and were awarded for travel grant certificate. Mr. Fahad enjoys a very strong research outlook and has published many research articles in well reputed national and international journals. He has been chosen multiple times by different universities and research centers for “scientific talks” and invited for conferences & workshops as speaker. Dr. Fahad as of now is serving as president of PMCA, representing Pakistan on different national and international platforms.
