206 - Evolution of the aerial program at Collier Mosquito Control District

Abstract: Collier Mosquito’s aerial control program began in 1965 with a single Twin Beech. Today, we have a fleet of six aircraft that includes both fixed-wing and rotary units. Here, we’ll discuss how our program has changed over the years as we’ve shifted from an adulticide-based approach to a more integrated management strategy and discuss the challenges we’ve faced as we’ve begun to update our older aircraft.
