This seminar will highlight the design process of understanding, building, renovating, or adding to a jail. It will provide you with a 5-step process by developing a proven study for your Elected officials and community on why your project is necessary. It will address not only current conditions but long-term strategies and growth. It will also address Mental Health discussions and how the facility can support individuals, not only inside the facility but outside the secure perimeter.

The Study Studies help guide the process and give necessary information on what you have. It will help direct needed changes to gain many efficiencies and operational improvements.
Consensus Building Stressing the hurdles of any public works project, especially a jail, takes time. Proper diagnosis and problem-solving require collaboration between the Department, the County, and the Public.
Code Compliance Keeping the facility up to code with various requirements requires a knowledgeable design firm. We’ve seen assorted non-compliance issues and can help when to engage with all parties
Future-Minded When designing a new facility, flexibility and “future-proofing” is important. Spending time on growth factors and expansion capabilities proves beneficial for the facility's lifetime.
Crisis Diversion Mental health and Opioid usage are drowning jail's capacity. Spaces are needed to address issues and offer a rehabilitative program to assist in the recovery of these individuals.
