Detention Lieutenant

Lieutenant Adella Laredo started with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office in 2006. She was promoted to Sergeant in 2013 and to Lieutenant in 2017. She has been assigned to the Tents Jail Division, Chain Gang Unit, Training Division, Towers Jail Division, Durango Jail Division, and Watkins Jail Division.
Adella is passionate about building others up and cultivates an inspiring work environment through interpersonal relationships and open, transparent communication. Adella has hosted multiple leadership-focused courses and has assisted with creating and instructing several Basic Detention Academy and Advanced Officer Training classes.
Adella has been a decorated member of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Honor Guard Unit for over 11 years; pledging to honor, respect, and remember the fallen heroes and their families who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
Adella holds an associate degree in organizational management and is working toward a bachelor’s degree in public administration. She also graduated from the Certified Public Manager program at Arizona State University.
