University of Minnesota School of Dentistry
Danae Seyffer was in the inaugural Dental Therapy class at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, earning her Master of Dental Therapy in 2011. She is currently a Clinical Associate Professor for the Division of Dental Therapy at her alma mater. In addition to her role at the UMN, she works as a Certified Advanced Dental Therapist at two dental offices; a Federally Qualified Health Center in Minneapolis and for the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community.
Danae is passionate about increasing access to oral health care for the underserved populations. She has had the honor to advocate for dental therapy both locally and nationally. She has previously served as the president for the Minnesota Dental Therapy Association and as the state representative for the American Dental Therapy Association.
