University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine
Eric Bernstein, JD, EdD, is the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Connecticut. He holds a joint appointment at the UConn Neag School of Education as an Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership and Adult Learning. Dr. Bernstein is active in many professional associations, including the American Dental Education Association, the American Education Research Association, and the University Council for Educational Administration. He is appointed as a Site Visitor with the Commission on Dental Accreditation and is the Chair of the ADEA Council of Faculties executive board. He also serves as a reviewer for various education-related publications and conference proceedings. Prior to joining the faculty at UConn, Dr. Bernstein was on the faculty of the University of Southern California. Dr. Bernstein has an Education Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Connecticut.
