Shahrzad Aarup, MA, DMD is the Director of the International Dentist Program (IDP) at Western University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine in Pomona, CA. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Aarhus University School of Dentistry in Aarhus, Denmark, and completed her general practice residency a year later. She worked full-time in private practice for ten years before moving to the United States and joining academia. She is a well-versed general dentist and teaches both pre-clinical and clinical curricula. Dr. Aarup is also the Managing Partner for IDP clinical team and supervises the group's patient care, practice management, and students' progress. She works closely with the Clinical Dean and other clinical Managing Partners to ensure high standards of patient care and high educational outcomes.
