Educational institutions are capitalizing on the opportunity to treat patients in new and innovative ways while ensuring students are taught the latest technology. By embracing teledentistry, students are able to provide care in non-traditional settings, remote post-op and homecare, increase access to care in the communities they serve all while exploring new career opportunities. Faculty are finding the ability to supervise and guide students through clinical, sim labs and outreach efforts invaluable.
States are rapidly adopting teledentistry regulations allowing for an increased reach and impact on society via telecommunication means. Teledentistry includes patient interaction, medical-dental integration, consultations, collaboration and more!
