Do you have a work-based accomplishment or project that you would like to showcase? Many of us have made refinements to our teaching philosophies, instructional methods, or the way that we structure and manage our learning environments with students, but don’t have a way to easily share those advancements with others. While not always recognized, each of these efforts contribute greatly to the student experience and to student success. During this session, participants will be introduced to the ADEA Micro-credentialing program, a series of digital badges that can be utilized to validate and share successes in the workplace. We will also discuss existing projects that would qualify for one of the 5 currently available ADEA micro-credentials.
Learning Objectives:
Describe how micro-credentials can be utilized as a means for national recognition for faculty
Identify individual projects and scholarly work that aligns with existing ADEA micro-credentials
