Everyone’s griefcase is filled with emotional baggage. Levels of emotional intelligence (EI) may affect one's ability to successfully identify emotions and manage emotional baggage. These skills can have an impact on interactions between educators, students, and patients. This course will utilize multiple methods to engage the participants using technology. By the end of the course, participants will understand the different domains of emotional intelligence; discuss how emotional intelligence affects interactions between educators, students, and patients; and will have access to methods of improving levels of emotional intelligence.
