Artificial intelligence (AI) for problem solving is an emerging trend in multiple disciplines. AI has the potential to outperform clinicians in both accuracy and efficiency. Despite increasing popularity of AI in healthcare, implementation challenges exist leading to potential biases. The purposes of this session are to provide most up-to-date evidence-based contents on types and applications of AI and to encourage critical thinking associated with the risks and benefits of AI in dentistry / dental education. Throughout interactive problem solving and idea sharing discussions, the session will focus on preparing educators and students for the future of AI application in dentistry.
