Dental schools face the challenge of preparing faculty with the tools and skills to be effective educators in a rapidly evolving environment. This presentation will share the design, facilitation, and outcomes of a highly-rated, semester-long online course on teaching methodologies for dental educators. Whether you provide faculty development training or teach your own online course, you will learn evidence-based strategies and contemporary tools to design highly interactive and engaging online courses for your learners, and to evaluate its short-term and long-term outcomes. You will also learn to create an inclusive online environment by applying the Universal Design for Learning framework.

Discuss how to incorporate evidence-based strategies and tools to promote interaction and engagement in online courses for faculty teaching development.
