Our goal in this educational session is to present to faculty participants the immense value of an interactive educational game show to enhance student learning. Audience members will learn about the educational software program Articulate Storyline to help create their own innovative game show at their respective home institutions. Volunteer participants will also compete in teams in an interactive, fun game of Dental Jeopardy. In addition, participants will have a chance to discuss other teaching tools to facilitate student learning such as the use of audience response systems and interactive video games in an interactive, fun, educational setting.

Learning Objectives:

Describe the value of using an interactive, fun and educational game show like “Dental Jeopardy” to facilitate student learning.
Compare and contrast the benefits of using the “Dental Jeopardy” game with colleagues from other institutions.
Analyze how to create an innovative teaching tool at one’s respective institution using an educational software program to meet learning objectives.
