University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry
Engaging students in predoctoral dental education is challenging. Several multimedia platforms have emerged with promising technologies to increase student engagement and may be suitable for dental education. Thinglink is an immersive, interactive technology enhancing student engagement and active learning. This digital tool transforms static images and videos to an interactive learning experience. These tags/icons can be embedded with various media formats as well as poll questions emphasizing the important aspects of that media that students are viewing. Audience members, in teams, will identify opportunities at their own institutions to implement innovative and immersive technology to create learning materials.
This session is an interactive workshop - please bring your laptop if you wish to participate. To get to this room, please enter Portland Ballroom 251.
