Modern dental curricula require faculty training in utilization and teaching of various technologies including electronic health records, photography, computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM), and lasers, to name a few. In addition, strategies for training faculty on the latest teaching and assessment methodologies in simulation and clinical practice are essential. In this session, presenters will share how training the trainers is possible. Through round table discussions, participants will develop initiatives for training faculty in various disciplines and learn calibration strategies in assessment of preclinical and clinical competencies, use of electronic health records and virtual patients, and fabrication of CAD/CAM generated restorations.
