I’mPossible: Lifting One Another UP Through Student Mentoring Programs

Developing strategies to increase value for higher education are forged by relationships formed today. By combining the diverse paths of entry-level and graduate dental hygiene students, this online recorded panel discussion will explore the awareness of leadership potential and higher education opportunities, while cultivating an inclusive opportunity for student mentorship. Students from entry-level and graduate programs will offer insight on how mentorship could positively promote higher education. This workshop will provide educators with strategies for building face-to-face and online student mentoring programs within their own educational institutions, based on feedback obtained from the student volunteers.
