Think I’mPossible: Strategic Planning for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging

The University of Kansas’ (KU) strategic plan for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB), Inclusive Excellence, is an exceptional example based on the American Association of Colleges and Universities, Harvard, University of Michigan, and others advancing the perspective that diversity of race, ethnicity, abilities, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, nationality/citizenship, values, ntellectual, cultural, and other viewpoints enriches our work and learning environments, and our lives. This workshop takes a deep dive to the intersection of organizational development and strategic planning for DEIB in order to brainstorm how you might customize an effective DEIB strategic framework for your own institution.
