Indiana University School of Dentistry
Mitchell Westberg, DDS, Second-year Pediatric Dentistry Resident at Riley Hospital for Children and postgraduate student at Indiana University School of Dentistry. I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, hailing from the small town of Albany, Oregon. I received my undergraduate education from Oregon State University, graduating in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in BioHealth Sciences. Upon graduation, I spent two years between college and dental school volunteering at Oregon Health and Science University as a dental assistant in the undergraduate dental clinic. In 2017, I began dental school at the Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis, Indiana. Immediately following grauation from dental school in 2021, I entered into the pediatric dentistry residency program at Riley Hospital for Children also in Indianapolis. My wife and I have really enjoyed living in Indianapolis with our two energetic dogs, who join us on nearly all of our adventures hiking, exercising, and traveling around the Midwest. We also enjoy visiting friends and family back home in Oregon and especially love to ski, ride bikes, and visit the Pacific coast while there. Some of my favorite hobbies I enjoy in my spare time are home improvement projects, woodworking, and cooking.
