Rebecca Renelus was born and raised in central Florida. She moved to New York City where she attended dental school at New York University.
Her time at NYU College of Dentistry allowed Dr. Renelus the opportunity to grow in leadership and community service towards underserved population groups. She was actively involved in Saturday Academy, a program that aims to increase diversity in the health care professions, especially dentistry, by introducing under-represented high school students to the profession of dentistry, while simultaneously preparing them for the college application process. Dr. Renelus also was an active member and leader of Student National Dental Association.
After receiving her DDS, Dr. Renelus moved to San Francisco to start her pediatric residency here at UCSF. After graduation, Dr. Renelus will work at Petaluma Health Center.
