Dr. Poojan Shrestha, BDS, MSc is currently pursuing a dual program at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. He is a resident in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the Adams School of Dentistry and a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Epidemiology at the Gillings School of Global Public Health.
He completed his MSc in International Health and Tropical Medicine from the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom and the Bachelor of Dental Surgery program from B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Nepal. Dr. Shrestha’s research spans various facets of oral epidemiology, genetic epidemiology, global health, and infectious diseases.
